Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This was such a cute lunch / tea spot to duck into after a busy hot day at the Park and Market. Was a much needed reprieve with a cute, air conditioned ambience! It’s also right above a cute flower shop and smells like flowers :) We ordered the chicken karaage, mentaiko pasta, the honey tea, and the genmaicha — all for around 60 MYR. The karaage don was FANTASTIC. Drinks were solid too and service was fast / professional. I personally didn’t like the pasta (tasted like Mayo pasta), but I’ll chalk that up to my American taste and not quality haha"
"Serene ambience contrast with the busy road next to it. Their Dons portion are big and very tasty. Desserts are nice and not too sweet. Will come back again to try their matcha beverage and cake."
"All i had was just a Hazelnut Latte. I walked by after buying some roses for my wife and at an old florist down the corner. I past by another florist with the side walk sogn of this cafe. Its 10.30 morning and slight drizzle, what a nice way to rest a while. Nice layout with Japanese vibes and good place to stop and read your mobile or rest your feet. Well done Yorimichi Cafe"
"A step away from Chinatown, this wonderful place is discreetly hidden in one of the back alleys. Soft music and minimalist decor, you will surely cool off and take a long and deserved pause here. We tried the hot dishes and the short lattes. An absolute delight!"
"Had a late lunch at Yorimichi the other day where we got their Mentaiko pasta and the special of the day - Cold Noodles. Food was pretty average - no complaints but not life changing. But their miso soup was really tasty! Got our appetites going! Drinks were also quite yummy. My friend got their genmaicha latte which was creamy but had a nice roasted taste to it. Really like the vibes though - we sat at the outdoors overhanging area and we could see the street. Really nice place for people watching."
"Been to Pasar Seni many times and found this place from Google as I was searching for “rice” The restaurant is located on a second floor of a flower house. They serve casual Japanese food and desserts. Nice decoration and friendly staffs."
"Our family had a great experience dining at Yorimichi. The Mentaiko pasta and Karage don were definite must-tries — so tasty and comforting. The kids devoured the Toyama curry rice, and the Teriyaki saba don was spot on too. For dessert we had kirimochi, purin, and Aunty Kiyomi’s shu cream — all super yummy! Took home the Very Matcha Cake and some cookies, and they were delicious too. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!"
"Nice small cafe, hidden above a florist. Good coffee and the katsu curry was a good portion but not much meat. Can get busy and noisy during lunch hour with local workers taking team lunches! Easy QR ordering system."
